The Golden Acorn Award The BLMS PTSA honors outstanding volunteer service for youth by annually awarding the Golden Acorn Award. The winner of this award is a PTSA member who promotes the welfare, safety and education of ALL youth in our schools and community.

The Outstanding Educator Award The PTSA honors outstanding educators by annually awarding the Outstanding Educator Award. The winner of this award is an educator who truly embodies the spirit of growing our students inside and out.  Mentors who support our students through education, encouragement, guidance and inspiration are invaluable to our students - these individuals may not only be teachers, but assistants, specialists, support staff, administrators or community members. This award honors those who promote academic and personal success at BLMS and beyond.

The Outstanding Advocate Award The PTSA honors outstanding volunteer advocacy for youth by annually awarding the Outstanding Advocate Award. This award is, above all, a PTSA award whose winner volunteers in ways that meet the mission of the PTSA: promoting the health, welfare, safety and education of ALL youth in our school and community through active legislative advocacy.
