Beaver Lake Middle School PTSA

At BLMS, the PTSA works to enrich the academic and social environment of the students and staff.  The PTSA provides both financial and volunteers to support staff and school activities.

Why join the PTSA?

By joining you become a voting member of the BLMS PTSA, providing input on the programs and activities we support; you receive monthly communications on current and upcoming events; you will have access to the online Student Directory; and you help our school earn recognition from the Washington State PTSA for member participation and community support.

Within Beaver Lake we support a wide variety of programs and activities such as student scholarships, student recognition, staff appreciation and grants for classroom needs, art programs, student safety and school beautification. We help organize and staff various school and community events including Battle at Beaver Lake, Bingo Night, Book Fair, Talent Show and more. The PTSA also provides a link between the Issaquah Schools Foundation (ISF) and our Beaver Lake community.

As part of a larger organization, the BLMS PTSA supports the state PTSA and its work on legislative issues that directly affect your child. As a member, you are also part of the National PTSA, the largest child advocacy organization in the nation. The National PTSA speaks on behalf of children – in schools and communities – to organizations that make decisions affecting children. The larger our numbers, the more power we have in advocating for children.

Pass the Hat

We can't do any of this without your help. The BLMS PTSA raises money through donations. Pass the Hat is our major fundraiser of the year. All the money raised through this fundraiser stays at our school. Your support makes all our programs, activities, and projects happen. To donate, see the Pass the Hat section on the membership form. We are a 501(c) (3)charitable organization so your donation to Pass the Hat is tax deductible.

Matching Funds

Matching Funds is an important part of our fundraising effort. When you fill out the membership form, please let us know if your company offers a matching funds program. We will contact you with information on how to direct the matching contribution to us.

How can I join?

Simply fill out the membership form and submit it with a check made out to BLMS PTSA.  You can turn it in to the school during Bulldog Day at the start of the school year, bring it in to the school office, or mail it to:
